I have a finite amount of caring. Sounds harsh, but it's realistic. I have a certain amount of emotional energy I can expend per day, per year. Sometimes that has to be focused entirely on not killing myself. Sometimes I have enough to spread around to a bunch of different people and their personal issues. Pushing the concerns of others out of your head is definitely an acquired skill, but a necessary one if personal preservation is at stake. It's unfortunate, but there you are.Adrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06405575961229611037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7034988638524682294.post-80220820238385580832013-11-24T10:42:47.913-05:002013-11-24T10:42:47.913-05:00there, not their. so sorry!there, not their. so sorry!Lynnhttp://www.tumblr.com/blog/lynnwordsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7034988638524682294.post-4482390320542454242013-11-24T10:40:53.818-05:002013-11-24T10:40:53.818-05:00It's one of life's difficulties - necessar...It's one of life's difficulties - necessary losses in order to gain. Still - sad when we deal with the grief of losing friends. But their comes a time when the grief of imbalanced relationships does become toxic to your soul, and letting go, so hard!
